Tuition Deposit

The tuition deposit is non-refundable except under the following circumstances:

  • Waitlisted Students: If a student is on a waitlist and is unable to secure a seat, the tuition deposit is fully refundable. If the student opts to accept a seat in the next available intake, the tuition deposit will remain on the student’s account.
  • International Students with Denied Study Permit: The tuition deposit is fully refundable less a handling fee of CAD$2800 which includes application fee of CAD$1200 (Non-Refundable) and enrollment deposit fee of CAD$1600 (NonRefundable) if a study permit is denied. The student will be required to provide LS Airways Flight Academy with the letter of rejection issued by Immigration, Refugees and Citizenship Canada (IRCC), prior to the start date of the program, verifying the denial of the study permit in order for the refund to be issued.
    1. Refunds required under this policy will be paid to the student or to the person or organization that paid the tuition and fees on behalf of the student, within 30 days.
    2. The student must submit a request for a refund by online application form at: https://lsairwaysflightacademy.ca/refund-policy/or in person at LS Airways Flight Academy located at Gimli Industrial Park Airport, 311 Anson Street Gimli Manitoba R0C 1BO.
    3. It is the student’s responsibility to make sure that all information including banking details are correct. LS Airways Flight Academy will not be held liable for any wrong information provided by the student.
Tuition Fees After Student Has Started The Program

A portion of the tuition paid may be refunded if a student withdraws from a course or a program prior to completion. The minimum amount retained by LS Airways Flight Academy is refundable less a handling fee of CAD$1200 which includes application fee of CAD$500.00 (Non-Refundable) and enrollment deposit fee of CAD$700.00 (Non-Refundable). Unless otherwise stated in materials provided to students, tuition refunds will be granted as follows:

  1. Courses that have ended: No refund.
  2. Students that have been granted a break in training, and have subsequently not resumed training within 30 days of the mutually agreed upon return date, will not be entitled to a refund.
  3. LS Airways Flight Academy reserves the right to terminate a disruptive student’s training. A disruptive student means any student who damages school property, or intentionally damages LS Airways Flight Academy’s reputation. No refund will be issued to disruptive students.  
  4. Courses that are in progress, according to the proportion of course completed as follows:
    1. After 10% but before 30% of course completed: LS Airways Flight Academy may retain up to 50% of the tuition & fees plus a handling fee of CAD$1200 which includes application fee of CAD$500.00 (Non Refundable) and enrollment deposit fee of CAD$700.00 (NonRefundable) that already paid by the student.
    2. After 30% but before 50% of course completed: LS Airways Flight Academy may retain up to 70% of the tuition & fees plus a handling fee of CAD$1200 which includes application fee of CAD$500.00 (NonRefundable) and enrollment deposit fee of CAD$700.00 (Non-Refundable) that already paid by the student.
    3. More than 75% of course completed: no refund Students who do not officially withdraw and stop attending the program will not be issued a refund. The student must submit a request for a refund by online application form at: https://lsairwaysflightacademy.ca/refund-policy/ or in person at LS Airways Flight Academy located at Gimli Industrial Park Airport, 311 Anson Street Gimli Manitoba R0C 1BO.
  5. Please note: starting December 1st 2022, students who have arrived in Canada and started their training will have to present a valid reason before a refund will be approved.
  6. LS Airways Flight Academy reserves the right to terminate students who fail to show any progress within a 6 month period starting at their enrollment.
  7. A request for refund can only be granted after a student has provided their bank details or contact information. Any open request that is missing such information will automatically be denied after 45 days.
  8. Students caught stealing school property and/or documents will not be eligible to any refunds.
  9. LS Airways Flight Academy reserves the right to terminate students who have not been in contact with the school for a period of at least 30 days or have left the country without informing the school. These students will not be eligible for any refund.
